How to Edit Subtitles

Wait for your video or audio file to be uploaded to and processed on our secure servers.

Click the Play Video or Play Audio button to be redirected to our online media player.

Select Transcription from the right sidebar and click Edit to begin editing your subtitles.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does my video or audio file stay online?

We keep your media file on our server for 24 hours before deleting it. However, if you sign up for an account, we will keep it online for as long as you have an active account or till you delete it yourself.
How long does it take to generate subtitles for my video or audio?

This depends on a number of factors, including the length of the video or audio, the amount of speech within it, and the load on our server. A video or audio that is 5 minutes or less in length usually only takes a few seconds to transcribe. If you upload a video or audio and aren’t able to view its captions immediately after being redirected to our online media player, try refreshing the page after a couple of minutes.
Does this tool have any limitations?

You can upload up to 2 video or audio files a day, one at a time. Each video file must be 250MB or smaller, while the size limit for audio uploads is 100MB. Additionally, each media file must be no longer than 30 minutes. To remove these restrictions, please upgrade to the Plus plan.
Is it safe to edit video or audio subtitles using this tool?

Yes! Your video or audio file is transferred to our server using an SSL connection and stored using military-grade AES-256 encryption.
