Having to do so manually for several screenshots or images at a time isn&#8217;t exactly convenient, however.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpshare.com\/downloading\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jumpshare<\/a> desktop app automatically detects sensitive information, namely <strong>email addresses<\/strong>, <strong>passwords<\/strong>, <strong>IP addresses<\/strong>, and <strong>credit card numbers<\/strong>,\u00a0in screenshots and lets you hide all instances with a single click inside the annotation window.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how to hide sensitive information from screenshots using Jumpshare\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpshare.com\/blog\/make-your-screenshots-pop-with-gorgeous-backgrounds-take-scrolling-shots-and-auto-hide-sensitive-info\/\">automatic redaction feature<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Automatically Redact Sensitive Information from Screenshots<\/h2>\n<p>1. Launch Jumpshare and select <strong>Capture<\/strong> to take a screenshot. If the screenshot or image contains sensitive information, the <strong>Redact Sensitive Information<\/strong> icon will appear in the toolbar at the top of the window. You may now, if you feel like you need to, modify these redaction marks individually. You may have to hide such instances manually.
